Get ready for your quick crumb of the week with your host, Teriyana. Have you stopped to look around you lately? Life has so much to teach us, whether you're at the grocery store or school or even at the gym. Recently, I've been going out to work out with my mom. She's been training me. My mom has been working out for many years. And let me tell you, the gym is her kingdom. I reached out to her because there's some things that I wanted to work on. I wanted to get better at powering through in the gym. I wanted to work on my body and prepare for some creative ventures that I wanna do in the future. And I remember one day, I had been working out with her for four days straight. And I found out real quick that she doesn't play around. We get right to work. But it was particularly on arm day that I got such a huge lesson. Hear me out. So she was showing me the different machines for your arms. And she told me that we're gonna do three sets of 10, and we're gonna rotate between machines, and we're gonna do all this stuff. And I'm just taking it all in. I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah. And we start getting to work out for the first probably 10 minutes. And I'm really feeling it. I'm really sweating. I'm really like, oh my gosh, I need to build up my endurance because this is a lot for me. She was telling me, giving me tips like slow down when you're feeling a certain type of way, make sure you rest your body. But the biggest thing was, I remember we were heading towards the last machine and I couldn't do it. In my mind, I could not do it. I could not get to those last few reps. And I was just sitting there like, I'm tired. I can't go anymore. And my mom looked at me and she said, the results are beyond the burn. She said, when you are reaching that point, when you are feeling the burn, that's when you need to push yourself as much as you safely can to get the results that you're looking for. When she said that to me, I felt so encouraged because I thought to myself in that very moment, I have these weird epiphanies, right then and there. And I was thinking how you can apply that to life. Don't think about the body right now. Think about the mind. Think about all the projects that we work on that are so draining, that are so time consuming, but we really wanna do it. But we get to that one spot in this venture that we're in where it's a struggle, it's really hard. You don't know how you're gonna make it. It's the mental burn. But there's so, but the rewards beyond that burn are indescribable. But we just have to push past it. It's only one page away, one drive away, one more class away, beyond the mental burn. But a lot of people won't see what's beyond that burn because it's too much for them to handle. And I think if people realize that sometimes it's gonna burn and you're not gonna be able to see what's beyond it right away, and that's okay. Maybe you need to build up to go beyond that burn. Maybe you need to take it slower to build up the endurance to endure what's coming next after that burn. If you're not ready for what you want, better yet, if you're not prepared for what you want, you're not gonna have the mental strength, the mental endurance, the mental ability to maintain the work that requires, the work that comes with what you've earned. It doesn't stop after the burn. But the challenge is during the burn where we make it easier for us so we can move on to the next thing. Struggle berries, what burn are you going through in life? Are you trying to finish school? Are you trying to invest in a startup? Are you trying to do something different than the family members before you? Are you on the verge of giving up? Have you even considered what could be beyond that burn? If I just go a little bit longer, if I just keep trying a little bit every day to what the best of my ability and grow my ability, what are the possibilities in my life? I want you to think about that for the rest of the week. Whatever you're doing, whatever you're contemplating, whatever is on your heart right now that you know is gonna take work, but you're procrastinating, or you're thinking about giving it up because you can't handle the burn. Because let me tell you, it's better to try and to know than to not try and to wonder. That hurts way more than the burn. For the last couple of days, struggle berries, I've been intentionally living differently because I learned that lesson at the gym that day. Know everything I'm doing from recording episodes to applying for jobs, to trying to build my skills to reach my dreams. I think about that notion. When it feels like it's getting hard, when it feels like I can't take it anymore, I ask myself, is this the burn? What is beyond this burn? Do I need to break from the burn? I'm not giving up, but do I need a break so I can build up this burn? Because I wanna be ready for when I get what I want because it's coming. The results are coming. They're not gonna be easy. You can do this. I believe in you. I want you to really think about this for the rest of the week, and I wanna hear from you. And I want you to know that I'm rooting for you. Believe me. Now Struggle berries, go embrace this problem, find a solution and take action. For real this time. Have a wonderful rest of your week. I'll talk to you soon. Bye.
