Get ready for your quick crumb of the week with your host, Teriyana. There's a lot of people that we look up to or we consider role models or idols in our lives, but someone that I truly admire and have followed their story for a very long time is Shia LaBeouf. Shia LaBeouf has had a really interesting life, and it hadn't been easy for him, but he's one of the people that I've noticed who had completely like crucified his character and gone through this cycle of defeat and self-doubt and so many different other emotions, but yet was able to build himself back up by being honest and authentic with himself and looking around to see what everyone else needs and what he needed as well, like a reciprocal relationship of a real true human connection. And for the last couple months, I had been looking at Shia's work because I had been watching old interviews about Honey Boy and the Peanut Butter Falcon and just things that projects that he had done that people really critically acclaimed as it were great things that he did. And I was like, let me check in on Shia. Let me see how he's doing. So I pulled up this one interview after like 10 of them that he did on Honey Boy, which is a depiction of him as his father and a boy who was technically living the same life, a similar life to what Shia had lived, which was not the best. But the one thing that Shia said within that interview that really moved me and really made me think was don't waste your pain. Let your pain be your paintbrush. We go through things in life and we really are hard on ourselves about the things that we do go through. And we don't give ourselves time to really think about how can I use this to help me? How can I use this to help others? How can I use this to make my life better instead of work against me? And I know this is Struggle Berry Crunch, but if you know the purpose of this podcast, which is to create a safe and uplifting space to talk about real adult struggles, don't forget that word uplifting. Because just because we go through things doesn't mean that I don't want you to come out of this on top. Here, we don't look at our struggles as obstacles. They may start out that way, but we wanna turn them into opportunities of growth, of self-love, of purpose, of so many different things. And that's what Shia has taught me. Shia has taught me so many different things, but one of the biggest things that I've learned from him is that no matter what your past is, no matter what you've been through, no matter what you've done, the actions you've taken to not put good in this world, you can turn it around and do the exact opposite and change your life around. And I feel like he is the epitome of that. And he's probably done some things that aren't highly favored, but who hasn't? Who hasn't? And that's what I really admire about him. And I admire you for taking the time to invest in your health, invest in your mental health, invest in your self-development, the things that you're doing right now to turn your pain into paint. Don't waste your pain. It's gonna be useful for you one day. And today, you can start finding out why. I wanna hear about it. I wanna hear what are you going through? How are you gonna embrace this problem, find solutions and take action? For real this time. You can always hit me up at Struggle Berry Crunch on Instagram or at struggleberrycrunch.gmail.com and let your girl know. Until we meet again, Struggleberrys. I hope you have a good week. Don't waste your pain. Bye.
